… of caddisfly larvae. These live in rivers and streams, and use silk secreted from their mouthpieces to glue together tiny pieces of sticks, stones, sand, etc to make protective coverings. I can’t get over the organized arrangements of their building materials. The results are often beautiful. So I am adding caddisfly fly larvae to my list of useful references for the final project. The written notes are mind warbles which are always useful.
